Happy Valentine's Day

So I'm blogging before studio because yet again our teacher is late. I thought I would write about our first travel trip from a few weeks ago. It was a really great trip even though it started kind of rocky. My favorite city by far was Bilbao; I'm almost positive its my new favorite city period (a title formerly tied between London and New York). Maybe it was because the weather was so perfect but I was awed by how beautiful the city was and what beats the home of Gehry's Guggenheim? I loved the size, the river, the landscape, the list goes on. Only an hour drive through beautiful countryside to the equally beautiful city of San Sebastian; I really can't think of anywhere better. Barcelona will definitely always hold a special place in my heart, but this part of the country doesn't seem as lush and green as the north. I need my green.
