Some of us had thought we would have to wait until going to Belgium or Germany to try any beers that were better than Estrella (which isn't saying a whole lot...) but we were pleasantly surprised in Granada by two brands both bottled in that region. Alhambra 1925 (left) and Alhambra Especial (right). Neither was expensive, and both had a great taste. So, if you go to a restaurant with a slightly bigger drink menu than usual, be sure to give one a try!
As a bonus, the 1925 has an beautiful and distinct looking bottle. I'll leave the logistics of fitting one in your suitcase to take back home up to you.
