When we first got here, Sonal showed me the blog from last semester. I was reading through it, when I came upon Hunter's 15 useful tips for us post. I remember laughing when one of his tips was that burkhas are a good idea for girls here.
Just so you know, that is an excellent tip; if you get tired of getting hit on constantly. It's actually gotten to a point where I can just kind of tune them out...except when they lean across the people I'm walking with to try to kiss me...that's just awkward...a lot awkward. Best bet is to walk with your eyes on the ground so you avoid eye contact...apparently eye contact seems to mean an open invitation here. Silly spanish men.
