This is obviously my "extra" journal-ish post. It was really great to see Dave a couple days ago and I'm sure he'll laugh when he sees this picture. On an architectural note... the Hospital del Mar is amazing inside. The part we saw was more of a progression of indoor-outdoor-blurred spaces. I'm not sure how or if they bother to handle security with the design (24 hour visiting - no check in) but its nice to walk through. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/142/337560645_2edb79fe49_b.jpg <--one such indoor/outdoor space.
