The New Appartment (for 10days)

Last week Hali and I were given the opportunity to cat sit for a friend of Doug's, Virginia. She is from the US, Virginia actually and is teaching here in Barcelona while she pursues a career in art. She is gone for 10 days and Hali and I get to stay in her apartment. We are so excited, she has an oven and a washing machine, two luxuries that we do not have at R.E.S.A. Plus, we get to play with an adorable cat named Omar.
We have been here for four days now and we have been trying to keep the apartment as clean as possible; we are college students. Hali and I went on a bit of a cleaning rampage today inbetween our work. There is cat hair everywhere! All he does is lye around and shed, but its ok cuz he is so sweet. Oh he also like to throw up his food if he eats it too fast; thats another luxary of ours. Just kidding, its still worth it though. It is going to be hard to leave next Sunday.
We have constantly been using the oven, for pizza, casserole, garlic bread and other baked dinners. We have not baked cookies yet but that is our next step! Dinner parties are great too! I love having people over and being able to cook and have a table to sit at; it's like playing house!
