Protest in Placa de Saint Jaume

Couple weeks ago, when Puja and I went to visit our site project for Kathrin’s class in Placa Saint Jaume they had a protest going on about Capitalism and freedom of speech. This was the first time I have ever seen a protest. The guards had their helmets, sticks and little ear pieces like the CIA and were standing guard with police cars at each end of the Placa for action. It was kind of scary, but at the same time very interesting. From Kathrin , I later learned that each Sunday they usually have “friendly” protest to show the government that the system needs to be worked on and changed for the better. The short time we were there, I took a video about one of the speakers of the party.
