La Molina

On one of our first weekends here, a large group of us ventured on the train to La Molina, a ski resort in the Pyrenees. It was the first time any of us had skied outside the U.S., and made for quite the experience. After a few minor setbacks and a long bus ride up an icy mountain, we made it.

I thought because I have done a little skiing in various places around the Midwest and North Carolina, I was suited to go to the summit. Boy was I wrong. Eggl, Cromie, and Ramsey (notice he still is on two feet) decided to come along as well. After a few tumbles, we all made it down safely. Here is a video I shot of us at the top before heading down.

All and all, it was a fun trip, and I'd love to do some more skiing before I go back home.
