Aqua Streets

Just like Venice in a way, Amsterdam contains major circulation routes through water ways and canals. The canals are great due to the fact that they create more open space and provide less congestion. Just like in many Bond flicks, I can imagine myself flying down the canals in a speed boat while doing some window shopping in the red light district. The multiple bridge connections that branch over the canals are slightly arched and use the same cobble stone brick technique that the streets and sidewalks do. The whole setting is very relaxed and vintage. I would like to revisit Amsterdam sometime soon possibly when it snows. The city would be amazing with white roofs and frozen puddles.
